Walking in Amsterdam
A new book from Sunflower just arrived the scene. Makes me want to revisit Amsterdam, I have no idea when I will have time to do that though… For now I have made a small Amsterdam Page on my website, so you can refer to that one, maybe at some point something will happen…
Program for 2011
It has been mentioned before here and there on this blog and also published elsewhere, but this the official program on islandwalking.com for 2011 (additions may appear later): • Western Greece: • Parga • Ionian: • Lefkada • Zakynthos • Italy: • Amalfi
God Jul
Just received these Christmas and new years wishes from one of the hotels I mentioned below. That seems like a fitting end to this years efforts and I can only pass it on to everyone:
Which Hotel Lagos (The Algrave)
A walking holiday based in Lagos could not be made better than by staying at the Albergaria Marina Rio. Perfectly situated more or less AT the bus station and in a short walking distance from the trains. And the old town in just next door.
Which Hotel Ciutadella
In Ciutadella on Menorca why not try this cozy little hotel?
Which Hotel Nice
I really loved this little gem in Nice, one of very few hotels actually inside the wonderful old town. Its name is Hotel Villa La Tour. As the name suggests it is located just at the famous clock tower at the (upper) edge of old town.
Which Hotel Dubrovnik

Which Hotel Cyprus
Hidden away up in Ktima Paphos you can find the Kiniras Hotel and Garden Restaurant. The hotel is good, the restaurant even better. Warmly recommended!
Which Hotel Lisbon
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, the Heritage Av Liberdade in downtown Lisbon:
Which Hotel Tenerife
Previously I have had a run through of in my experience especially nice Greek hotels. Hotels that (regardless of price level) are particularly good in just that class. I am thinking of extending this now to other places I have visited. First out is Tenerife. In Santa Cruz there is an excellent hotel which also … Continue reading
