My portal number 13 is a statue of Pan in the Candie Cardens in St.Peter Port, Guernsey. Quite literally a walk in the park, this is a beautiful and relaxed place, well worth a visit.
Walking the Greek Islands |
My portal number 13 is a statue of Pan in the Candie Cardens in St.Peter Port, Guernsey. Quite literally a walk in the park, this is a beautiful and relaxed place, well worth a visit.
I small report (not necessarily finished in all respects yet) can be found on https://www.islandwalking.com/wordpress/other-islands/arran/.
Just back from a trip to The Isle of Arran, in the Firth of Clyde, Scotland. I’m in the process of uploading pictures now at http://www.islandwalking.com/piwigo/index.php?/category/119.
Two more walks have been added to my Guernsey page.
Likewise with Herm that also got its new page now at https://www.islandwalking.com/wordpress/other-islands/herm/.
Now that I have actually spent a couple of nights on Sark, walks that I did on the island has gotten their own page at https://www.islandwalking.com/wordpress/other-islands/sark/.
After my recent visit, even if it was a short one, Alderney has been awarded with its own page. I am pretty sure I will be back for more walks and strolls at some later time. It was a very nice place. For now I have walked around the island’s coastline, divided up in two stages.
For your augmented walking experience I have several new portals active. This is a list of them, in chronologic order. Most are of course on very interesting islands:
Mgarr, Gozo.
Ghajnsielem, Gozo.
Sark.
Jersey.
Jersey.
Jersey.
Oslo, Norway.
Guernsey.
Cephalonia, Greece.
And finally, there are also some new pictures from Guernsey, see http://www.islandwalking.com/piwigo/index.php?/category/112.
New pictures from Herm at http://www.islandwalking.com/piwigo/index.php?/category/115.
