Note that old and unmaintained pages long since added to my new WordPress index has now, after one year, been physically removed from the server. This is because I do not want to restrict search robots on this site, still does not want these out-dated pages indexed. This means that there is a possibility of old links both internally and externally to Islandwalking.com suddenly turning dead. (Some specific pages I know are linked to from elsewhere are still there though.)
Testing 1-2-3
Just some quick macro-photos unwrapping two editions of Nøgne Ø Red Horizon. Not too bad considering the very low light conditions.

Sony NEX-7
I was going to buy a new camera (replacing my 3rd compact camera) this year. I realized I wanted one right now. So why wait. Finally a system camera for me, and I hope this will make it for better and more interesting pictures in my Photo Album in the future. Stay tuned.
Red Horizon
Soon this blog will turn into a beer blog… 😉
Again it’s about extreme and fairly exclusive stuff from Nøgne Ø, an ale made from sake yeast. They are up to the 3rd edition of this now, and all editions are one-off products of course. Extremely wonderful!
Get Your Wings
As a follow-up to yesterday’s blog post I will take the opportunity to remind everyone, and especially dinosaurs in the music and movie businesses that it is still not too late to adapt. Dinosaurs (real ones) did also face dramatic changes in their environment once. And what did that bring us? Well, the birds of course. So I guess there is still hope…
TPBAFK
This will be one of the most important movies of 2013. Yes, it’s a documentary. And a very honest one from what is left of the free world. And now even just partly so. Not sure if that will last. Corporate America and its solicitors with no souls left will possibly soon decide what is right and what is wrong purely based on their private commercial interests with no concern for right or wrong.
Sunturn(brew)
Things are brightening up. How better to celebrate that than with this insane bourbon barrel edition of “Sunturnbrew” from Nøgne Ø.
Plans for 2013
These are my current plans for 2013:
- Gozo
- Jersey
- Guernsey
Notice the total lack of anything Greek this year. I feel personally offended by their waving of nazi flags and exhibiting nazi dummies in the streets of Athens in 2012, that’s why.
2012 Summary
Time to sum up 2012. These pages were added or received a major update last year:

Gran Canaria Update
Just like last year we have a “surprise” winter update to the Gran Canaria Page, accompanied by new Photographs.
