Kastellorizo is such a small island that your walking can be done quite quickly. Well, that leaves more time for eating and drinking. My small report from the walk I did can be found here.

Pictures from Kaş has been added to the Photo Album. Kaş is a gem of a town on the Turkish Mediterranean coast, between Fethiye and Antalya. It is a bit of a “Plan B” for me, but is providing a near-Greek experience in many ways…

This is where you discover how much you potentially love Greece and especially the small islands and the people trying to eke a living out of their island. This small and ill reputed boat is in fact the life line of a certain string of islands, and should be treated with respect. Just one warning: After I had watched this my entire keyboard was covered in snot and tears.

Nøgne Ø - Imperial Stout

I always make posts about good Beer etc I find on my travels, but never do I mention good drink in Norway that it could be useful for visitors to try out. So here it is, the best “Norwegian” beer from Nøgne Ø in Grimstad. The pictured Imperial Stout is one of my absolute favorites, but they make many, many types and have also now started to produce Sake, as the first and only European producer.

I have previously on this blog mentioned a good shop in Oslo (e.g) for various Heavy Metal Merchandise™ called Rockmerch. For some reason I have forgot to mention our very own Neseblod Records in Rathkes gt. 7, which is a Black Metal Shop/Museum(?) etc. Fun fact: At both places it is possible you might find heavy metal dignitary Geir Kolden behind the counter (last seen/heard in Lilyhammer).
